There we go! Our adventure begins at exactly 4am with getting up and driving from Ticino to
Zurich Airport, flying to London Heathrow, flying to Dallas Fort Worth, Texas and finally
driving to Wichita Falls, where our home base will be located for just over a month. The whole trip was a bit long but went as smooth and easy as it gets:  There were no delays, no hassles, no turbulence, nice plane food, tons of movies to choose from entertainment, soft landing in sunny Dallas, no immigration problems, no rental car surprises, on the contrary: We get a brand new Buik Encore 2025 with less than 2000 mileage from Dollar. A SUV-virgin that has yet to experience mother nature on its hood, and there is no doubt that after our trip, this car is going to look 15 to 20 years older:  The model output for the time of our arrival in Wichita Falls looked a little wet-ish:  So there was no suprise that the weather was indeed a bit "durchzogen", as you say in German, at the time we arrived in our new home:  What a nice place to stay, in the middle of the action, thunder rumbles outside, cozy:  |
